Srinagar, Apr 22: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday paid heartfelt tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, marking one year since the tragic incident, and reiterated their firm resolve to eradicate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.

In a post on X, the Lieutenant Governor remembered the “innocent souls” who lost their lives in the gruesome attack in 2025, stating that their memory continues to live on in the hearts of the people. “My thoughts and prayers are with their families. We will not forget. We will not forgive. This is our solemn vow. India stands unified against terrorism,” Sinha said, adding that there is unwavering commitment and determination to wipe out terrorism from the soil of Jammu and Kashmir.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in his message, said that even a year after the attack, the collective resolve against terror and violence remains strong. “We remain resolute in our desire to rid J&K of suffering and innocent deaths. We remain committed to doing everything to ensure it never happens again,” he said.

The Chief Minister also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, stating that the government and people stand with them in remembrance of their loved ones. “We remain in eternal solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones in that cowardly attack. May the souls of the victims rest in peace,” he added.
