Pukwama : Police on Saturday said that it seized two vehicles involved in unauthorized extraction of minerals in Pulwama.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that a police party from Police Post Newa intercepted two tractors during naka checking at Newa Market. The vehicles, driven by Murtaza Ali Khan and Mukhtar Hussain Khan, both residents of Hathkol Nawnagri, were found carrying illegally extracted sand. Both vehicles were seized, and FIR No. 56/2026 has been registered at Police Station Pulwama. Investigation is underway.
