Doda:The line departments and own management continue to organise awareness and promotional activities in educational institutions across Doda District under the ongoing 100 Day NashaMukt Jammu & Kashmir Campaign.
The AYUSH Department organized a series of awareness and wellness activities to promote a healthy, disciplined and drug-free lifestyle among the youth and general public.
Yoga and Wellness Activities with the Anti-Drug theme were organized at Government Higher Secondary School Boys Bhaderwah, where students, staff and community members participated with great enthusiasm. The sessions focused on the importance of Yoga as a powerful tool for maintaining physical fitness, mental peace and emotional balance.
A yoga awareness camp was convened at Government Higher Secondary School Thathri. Around 175 individuals, including students and staff actively participated in the session.
Similarly, a Drug De-Addiction Awareness Programme was organized at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Doda, witnessing participation of around 415 students.
Government Dy. SP Aman Thakur Memorial Degree College Kastigarh organized a Poster Making Contest with the aim of creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among the youth.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who expressed their ideas on the theme “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life” through impactful and thought-provoking posters.
