During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of activities being carried out by various departments under the NashaMukt Abhiyan, emphasizing the need for sustained and coordinated efforts to eliminate drug abuse from society. He stressed that all stakeholders must work in close synergy to ensure the success of the initiative.

Threadbare discussions were held on awareness campaigns, community outreach programmes, and the role of educational institutions in sensitizing youth against the menace of drug abuse.
