New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi blamed the US for the failure of Islamabad talks, saying Iran encountered ”maximalism, shifting goalposts and blockade inches away from an MOU.”
”Zero lessons learned. Goodwill begets goodwill. Enmity begets enmity,” Araghchi said on X on Monday.
He said that in intensive talks at highest level in 47 years, Iran engaged with the US in good faith to end the war.
But when ”just inches away from ‘Islamabad MoU’, we encountered maximalism, shifting goalposts, and blockade,” he added.
