Jammu: The annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra will commence on July 3 and continue till August 28, 2026, lasting 57 days, officials said on Sunday.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said the Pratham Puja, seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva, will be performed on Jyeshtha Purnima, falling on June 29, 2026.
“Advance registration for the yatra will begin on April 15, 2026, through both online and offline modes,” the LG said.
Authorities have made registration facilities available at 554 branches of J&K Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB), State Bank of India (SBI), and Yes Bank across the country, officials added. (KNS)
