Delegations Call On LG Sinha In Jammu; Key Issues, Achievements Discussed

Jammu: Several delegations, public representatives, and eminent personalities called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha in Jammu on Friday and discussed a range of issues concerning development, public welfare, and community interests.
A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy, led by its Chairman ShrirangAppaBarne, met the Lieutenant Governor during its study visit to Jammu. Members of Parliament, including Shyamkumar Daulat Barve and Javed Ali Khan, along with officials from the Lok Sabha Secretariat, were present during the interaction.
A delegation led by BJP spokesperson Gaurav Gupta also called on the Lieutenant Governor and expressed gratitude for the transformation of the Tawi riverfront. Another delegation from PurmandalUtterbehniTeerth Seva Nyas met the LG and discussed matters related to religious and tourism development.
Meanwhile, Rahul Sahai, Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Jammu Chapter, called on the Lieutenant Governor and deliberated on issues concerning trade and industry.
International para-athlete S. Chandeep Singh also met the Lieutenant Governor, who congratulated him for winning a gold medal at the 4th National Para Taekwondo Championship. The LG assured full support for his preparation for upcoming international events, including the Asian Championship.
A public delegation from Samba, led by former Minister Shri Yash Paul Kundal, called on the Lieutenant Governor and projected various developmental concerns of the area.
In another meeting, Rajinder Premi, social activist and son of noted freedom fighter and litterateur Sarwanand Kaul Premi, highlighted several welfare issues concerning the Kashmiri Pandit community.
The Lieutenant Governor assured all delegations of appropriate consideration and reiterated the administration’s commitment towards inclusive development and public welfare across Jammu and Kashmir.
