Budgam: 3-day IACDE PG convention began Friday at Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) Jammu showcasing new scientific researches, established new techniques and ever expanding technology in the field of conservative dentistry and endodontics.
The Convention featured presentations of 770 scientific papers and 7 expert hands-on courses in scientific sessions.
Around 200 delegates, 800 post graduates attended the convention on the inaugural day presenting their research work in the field of endodontics and conservative dentistry. IGGDC, Jammu provides the perfect venue for the mega event with ample, well-kept space for multiple events well managed under the dynamic administrative acumen of the Principal and Dean, IGGDC Jammu, Parveen Akhter Lone.
The mega event was well managed by organising committee sticking to the plan and well executed under the leadership of Dr Prof. Azhar Malik (Conference Committee Chairman), Dr. Shameem Anjum (Organising Secretary), Dr Ajay Kumar Gupta (Trade Organising Chairman), Dr Rachana Dhani (Treasurer), Dr Rudra Kaul (Scientific Committee Chairman), Dr Ravinder Bagat (Accommodation Committee Chairman), Dr Sachin Chadgal (Transport committee chairman).
The event was attended by well known figures in the field of conservative dentistry and endodontics like Dr.Dibyendu Mazumdar, Dr R Mohan, Dr Shishir Singh, Dr Wadhwani, Dr Mithra Hedge, Dr Syed Abrar and others.
