JDA conducts anti-encroachment; retrieves 8 Kanal land at 2 locations

Jammu :Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Thursday  carried out a major anti-encroachment and demolition drive on its land at Rathore Dhok (Dhok Waziran), Nagrota and Sidhra near security headquarters. The drive was carried out with the active support of the District Administration.

At Rathore Dhok (Dhok Waziran)-Nagrota, one unauthorized structure along with plinths was demolished, retrieving approximately 3 kanal of JDA land.

Similarly, five unauthorized permanent structures were demolished at Sidhra. The operation resulted in the retrieval of around 5 kanal of encroached JDA land. In total, about 8 kanal of JDA land was reclaimed during the drive.

The anti-encroachment operation was conducted under the directions of Vice Chairman JDA Rupesh Kumar and executed smoothly with full cooperation from the District Administration and JDA enforcement teams.

JDA reiterates its commitment to safeguarding its land and will continue such drives to remove encroachments and ensure proper utilization of public assets.
