Recalls 1965 Rann of Kutch bravery at Sardar Post
New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday paid tributes to the martyrs of the Central Reserve Police Force on the occasion of CRPF Valour Day.
Remembering the historic 1965 battle at Sardar Post in the Rann of Kutch, Shah said CRPF personnel stood like an unbreakable wall against enemy advances. He lauded their indomitable courage and sacrifice, calling it a glorious chapter in India’s history.
He extended heartfelt tributes to the bravehearts who laid down their lives for the nation’s honour and security. PIB
