SRINAGAR 11 April : The meeting was attended by Party General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam, former Minister Nayeem Akhtar, former Minister Asiya Naqash, Women’s Wing President Anjum Fazili, former MLA Peer Mansoor Hussain, Party Spokesperson Mohammad Iqbal Trumboo, former MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District President Srinagar Abdul Qayoom Bhat,Youth DP Tahir Lone , DP Women’s Wing Srinagar Sara Nayeem,District Coordinator Dr.Ali Mohammad, Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigroo,former state secratary Ab Hameed Kohsheen,Constituency Incharge Zaidibal Sheikh Gowher,Tawsif Shah, Adv. Majid, along with other district leaders.
The meeting focused on reviewing the organizational structure of the district unit, strengthening grassroots-level activities, and addressing pressing public issues in Srinagar. Detailed discussions were also held regarding preparations for upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB) elections and Panchayat elections, with an emphasis on early groundwork, candidate identification, and effective booth-level management.
The leadership stressed the importance of intensifying outreach programmes and public engagement initiatives to strengthen the party’s connect with the people and ensure robust mobilization in the lead-up to these elections.
