- Officer to Remain Attached to Chief Engineer’s Office

Srinagar : The Jal Shakti Department has suspended an in-charge Executive Engineer following his detention by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Manzoor Ahmad Dar, posted in the PHE Mechanical Division, South Awantipora, has been placed under suspension with effect from March 28, 2026 — the date of his detention by the ACB, Kashmir, according to Government Order No. 55-JK (JSD) of 2026 issued on April 7.
The suspension has been ordered under Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
As per the order, the officer will remain attached to the office of the Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti (PHE) Kashmir, during the suspension period and will receive subsistence allowance as per rules.
