CU Kashmir inks MoU with Paras Health Srinagar

Ganderbal  :   The  Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Plus Medicare Hospitals Pvt Ltd (Paras Health Srinagar) at varsity’s Tulmulla campus. The agreement was signed by CUKashmir Registrar, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir and facility Director of Plus Medicare Hospitals Pvt. Ltd Srinagar, Dr. Murtuza Habib. Dean DSW, Dr. Jehirul Islam, Youth Welfare Officer, Dr. Harpal Singh,  Medical Officers, Dr. Abid and Dr. Sheeba, senior functionaries from the university and Paras Health were present.

Stating that the well-being of university employees is paramount to the varsity’s academic and administrative success, Registrar, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir, said the MoU with Paras Health Srinagar will ensure that our staff, and their dependents will receive quality and timely medical care. Under the terms of the MoU, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir said that all employees of the CUKashmir and their dependents will be entitled to cashless and reimbursement-based treatment at Paras Health’s Srinagar facility. “The services will be offered at rates aligned with the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) for NABH-accredited hospitals,” he further said.

Speaking on the occasion. Dr. Murtuza Habib, assured all possible support to the CUKashmir for implementing the MoU in the letter and spirit. “Our hospital is equipped with a team of highly specialised medical professionals across disciplines, supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities. We are committed to maintain the highest standards of healthcare while continuously expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of the community,” he added.
