Srinagar : Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat, on Monday reviewed the working of Revenue Department at the Mini Secretariat Bijbehara, emphasizing the importance of digitization and the accuracy of Jamabandi records. He highlighted the need for timely completion of backlog mutations and stressed transparency and efficiency in revenue services to enhance public access.
During his visit, Dr. Bhat engaged with various public delegations, including representatives from Transporter, Trade, and Bar Associations, addressing their concerns and assuring that their issues would be resolved promptly. Following this, he assessed healthcare facilities at SDH and Trauma Hospital Bijbehara, inspecting various sections and interacting with patients to evaluate the quality of services. He expressed satisfaction with the hospitals’ operations while directing improvements in patient care and compliance with medical standards. Additionally, Dr. Bhat visited the Veterinary Hospital Bijbehara, currently under construction with an investment of Rs 4.77 Crore, and reviewed the project’s progress, which is expected to be completed ahead of schedule by June 2026. The visit underscores the district administration’s commitment to enhancing public service delivery and improving facilities for the community.
