Jammu: Manoj Sinha on Thursday handed over an appointment letter under the J&K Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme 2022 to Smt. Alka Sharma, wife of martyr Sub-Inspector Deepak Sharma, in a gesture of support to the bereaved family.
Sub-Inspector Deepak Sharma had made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in 2024 while courageously fighting and neutralizing a most-wanted gangster in Kathua.
On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor assured all possible assistance and support to the family, reiterating the administration’s commitment towards the welfare of families of martyrs.
In a separate development, a delegation of Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust led by Anil Gupta called on the Lieutenant Governor at Jammu.
The delegation discussed various issues and matters of public importance with the Lieutenant Governor, who assured due consideration of their concerns.
