Continuing its drive against drug trafficking, Police on Friday said to have achieved a significant success during naka checking by arresting drug peddler in Eid Gah area of Pulwama
A Police spokesperson said that a naka was established by the team of Police Station Pulwama, during which one person identified as Anayatullah Makdoomi S/o Showkat Ahmad R/o Drasoo was apprehended by the naka party. During his personal search, approximately 52 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from his possession. The accused was immediately taken into custody and the contraband substance was seized as per procedure.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 46/2026 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Pulwama, and further investigation has been taken up.
