Shreya Singhal assumes charge as Director Information

Jammu: Shreya Singhal, IAS today assumed the charge of Director Information Jammu and Kashmir.
After assuming office, the Director held an introductory meet with the senior officers and officials of the DIPR.
She emphasized the importance of transparent, timely and people-centric dissemination of information. She highlighted the role of the Information Department as a vital bridge between the government and the citizens, stating that effective communication remains essential for promoting awareness about developmental initiatives and welfare programmes of the government.
Shreya Singhal reiterated her commitment towards modernizing the communication strategies by integrating digital platforms, enhancing media coordination and encouraging constructive engagement with the stakeholders.
Joint Director Information (Hqr), Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina; Joint Director Information Jammu, Deepak Dubey; Deputy Director Information (PR&AV), Javid Ahmad Rather; other senior officers and officials of DIPR were present on the occasion.
