Sopore : Police on Friday said that it has attached immovable properties of three proclaimed offenders in connection with a case registered under the E&IMCO Act.
In a statement issued here on Friday Police said that action pertains to FIR No. 02/2008 registered at Police Station Panzalla. The properties were attached in Nadihal in coordination with the Revenue Department following court orders. The attached properties include land belonging to Reyaz Ahmad Lone, Aijaz Ahmad Lone, and Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, all residents of Nadihal. The accused had been declared proclaimed offenders under Section 87 CrPC for evading legal proceedings.
The attachment was carried out under Section 88 CrPC after due verification and in the presence of revenue officials and independent witnesses.
