Rajesh targeted registration, output tracking and timely completion of Daksh Kissan
Kathua : Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma Friday chaired a meeting to review the implementation of agriculture and allied sector initiatives under the Holistic Agriculture Development Project (HADP).
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a comprehensive review of the interventions aimed at enhancing productivity, strengthening value chains and improving farmers’ income under the flagship programmes. He stressed the need for targeted registration of farmers and directed officers to ensure time-bound coverage of all eligible beneficiaries.
Emphasis was laid on output tracking through digital monitoring mechanisms to ensure transparency and real-time assessment of outcomes. The stakeholder departments were instructed to expedite completion of Daksh Kissan training and certification, highlighting its importance in capacity building and skill enhancement of farmers.
The DC also directed officers to achieve the physical and financial targets within stipulated timelines, besides clearing pendency and ensuring timely disbursement of benefits. He underscored the importance of intensified field outreach and coordinated efforts among departments for effective implementation on ground.
