Samba :To ensure uninterrupted supply of LPG and curb any malpractices, Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan has directed the enforcement departments to carry out intensive and regular inspection of LPG Outlets and distribution points across the district.

The inspection drives are being conducted under the overall supervision of Assistant Director, FCS&CA Rahul Gupta. Tehsil-level teams led by TSOs are carrying out joint enforcement operations in coordination with the Revenue Department, Police and Legal Metrology Department to ensure strict compliance with prescribed norms.

During the inspections, special focus is being laid on preventing hoarding, black marketing, overcharging and diversion of LPG cylinders. The teams are also verifying stock positions, delivery mechanisms and adherence to notified rates. Additionally, efforts are being made to ensure that domestic consumers receive priority supply without inconvenience.

The District Administration has reiterated that adequate and uninterrupted supply of Petrol, Diesel and Domestic LPG is available across Samba district and there is no shortage of petroleum products.

Citizens are advised not to panic, avoid unnecessary booking or hoarding and refrain from spreading rumours. It has been emphasized that domestic households will continue to remain the top priority for LPG supply.

For any information or assistance, the public can contact the District Control Room Helpline: +91-1923-241004.
