Deadlines fixed for bill submission; treasuries to remain open from March 28–31, including holidays, to ensure smooth year-end financial closure.

Srinagar : The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued orders regulating treasury operations during the last week of March to facilitate the smooth closure of the financial year.
According to an order issued by the Finance Department, the last date for submission of SNA SPARSH bills by Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) at treasuries is March 25, up to 2 p.m., with processing by the Cyber Treasury to be completed by 4 p.m. the same day.
The order states that SASCI and NABARD bills can be submitted till March 30, up to 2 p.m., while all other bills must be submitted by March 28, up to 2 p.m. All treasuries, including the Civil Secretariat Treasury and Sub-Treasury New Delhi, will remain functional from March 28 to March 31, including Sundays and holidays, to facilitate year-end transactions. Receipts through cash and contra will also be accepted during this period.
The Jammu and Kashmir National Informatics Centre has been directed to regulate the functioning of JK-PaySys in accordance with the schedule and disable the system after 2 p.m. on the specified dates.
