KU VC felicitates 11 CCCP Residential Coaching Prog Qualifiers of JKPSC CCE–2024

Srinagar : Vice Chancellor Kashmir University Prof. Nilofer Khan, on Monday honored 11 candidates from University’s  Centre for Career Counselling, Coaching and Placement (CCCP) who successfully qualified the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) Combined Competitive Examination–2024.

The ceremony was held at the University Main Campus during which the candidates’ achievements were celebrated days after  the announcement of results on March 13, where they secured positions on the merit list. The CCCP is a flagship initiative of the University designed to provide structured coaching and academic support to civil service aspirants, particularly focusing on economically disadvantaged individuals and female candidates. The program offers a fully residential environment, including free accommodation, a 24/7 library, high-speed internet, structured test series, and continuous mentorship to enhance preparation for competitive examinations.

Speaking on the occasion Prof. Neelofar Khan expressed pride in the candidates’ accomplishments, emphasizing the University’s commitment to bolstering academic support systems that empower young aspirants to excel in prestigious examinations. She highlighted her active involvement in monitoring the CCCP’s progress and acknowledged the contributions of the Overseeing Committee, led by Dean Research Prof. Mohammad Sultan Bhat, along with other key members for their guidance and supervision. During the ceremony, other University officials, including Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Shariefuddin Pirzada and Registrar Prof. Naseer Iqbal, commended the consistent academic support provided through the CCCP and congratulated the successful candidates and their families. Prof. Nazir Ahmad, Director of CCCP, noted that the candidates’ success reflects the dedicated efforts of the CCCP team and mentors over the years in establishing a vibrant residential academy for civil service preparation. The event concluded with Deputy Director Dr. Yahya Bakhtiyar expressing gratitude, while Coordinator Dr. Hakim Yasir Abbas facilitated the proceedings. The successful candidates shared their experiences at CCCP, acknowledging the invaluable guidance and support that contributed to their success in the JKPSC CCE–2024 examination.
