Shimla: Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday took oath as the 30th Governor of Himachal Pradesh at a dignified ceremony held at Lok Bhavan in the state capital, Shimla. Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, administered the oath of office and secrecy to him.
On the occasion, Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh and Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu were also present. A Guard of Honour was accorded to the Governor during the ceremony.
