K H Snippets: Defining Moments Of The Week
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegramEmail

Srinagar: This week in KH Snippets, the spotlight remains firmly on a Rising India narrative from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s forceful articulation of self-reliance and technological leadership to sharp political exchanges over governance and long-term vision for 2047. The national discourse blended economic ambition, digital transformation and ideological contest.
1. PM’s Call For Faith In India’s Inherent Strength: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India’s rise is rooted in recognizing its own inherent strength, asserting that the nation has moved beyond decades of “mental slavery” and inferiority. Citing the Upanishadic phrase Tat Tvam Asi, he said the power India seeks lies within itself. Referring to the past 11 years, the Prime Minister said India has shed the “Fragile Five” tag and policy paralysis to emerge as a confident economy attracting global trade partnerships.
2. Digital Revolution, Infrastructure Mark New India: PM
Highlighting India’s digital transformation, the Prime Minister said initiatives like Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile integration have reshaped governance. He noted that through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), over ₹24 lakh crore has been transferred directly to beneficiaries, eliminating leakages and enhancing transparency.
3. India Shaping Global AI Discourse, Says PM: Referring to the recently held AI Summit with participation from over 100 countries, the Prime Minister said India is now shaping global conversations in emerging technologies. He stated that unlike previous industrial revolutions where India remained a follower, the country is now actively influencing decisions in Artificial Intelligence.
4. PM Targets Congress, Defends Long-Term Vision for 2047: The Prime Minister criticized the Congress party for what he described as “blind opposition” to key national initiatives, including Article 370 abrogation, GST reforms, digital payments, and defense operations. He said opposition in a democracy should offer alternatives, not resist every reform.
