Srinagar, Feb 28 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for their historic Ranji Trophy triumph, calling it the region’s “finest hour.”

In a post on X, the LG, per media , lauded the players for their grit and determination.

“J&K’s finest hour has arrived. Emotions beyond words as our cricket team claims the Ranji Trophy. To every player who carved history through sheer grit—thank you from the entire UT. You have immortalised history; embrace it with honor,” the post read.

The victory marks a milestone in Jammu and Kashmir’s sporting journey, with the team clinching its maiden Ranji Trophy title after decades in India’s premier domestic cricket tournament.

The title-winning campaign was marked by consistent performances, disciplined bowling, and resilient batting throughout the season—
