Says “Innovative infra projects will continue”: Darakhshan

Srinagar: Reconstruction & Beautification Project of Ziyarat Sharief Syed Kanju Shah (RA) was inaugurated by Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi at Jammu.
The foundation for the mega project of the Sufi shrine was established last year by the Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr. Darakhshan, and the project has been completed within the designated timeline. The inauguration event was attended by key officials, including the Special Officer of the Board, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, and other dignitaries from the civil society. Dr. Darakhshan emphasized that this project represents a significant achievement for the Board, fulfilling the aspirations of the community devoted to the spiritual shrine. The project involved high-quality reconstruction and beautification efforts, which were initiated last year. Dr. Darakhshan expressed pride in the Board’s work, highlighting its commitment to ongoing development in Jammu and Kashmir. She commended the team for their coordinated efforts and expertise in construction techniques, which contributed to the successful realization of the project. In response to media inquiries regarding political criticisms of the Waqf management, Dr. Darakhshan stated that the Board’s transparent developmental mission may provoke jealousy among those who do not support infrastructure development at Sufi shrines. She assured that the Board will persist in its efforts to enhance spiritual centers without allowing political interference or personal agendas to disrupt their mission.
