*Baramulla, 24 Feb : ontinuing its drive against illegal mining and unauthorized extraction of minerals, a Police party of PP Palhallan seized two tractors during patrolling at New Colony Palhallan.
The tractors were found involved in illegal extraction of soil minerals. Both vehicles were seized on the spot, and action has been initiated under the relevant provisions of the MMRD Act.
Baramulla Police reiterates its commitment to taking strict action against illegal mining activities and appeals to the general public to cooperate and report such unlawful practices.
