SAMBA, FEBRUARY 23: The District Centre, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Samba on Monday organised a drug de-addiction awareness programme at Government Boys Higher Secondary School to educate students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle.
The awareness drive was conducted under the aegis of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, focusing on reducing drug demand and encouraging a healthy, addiction-free society.
The programme featured a series of cultural performances presented by the artists of the Saraswati Sangeet Art and Culture Group, who effectively conveyed the anti-drug message through creative expression and stage performances.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included District Information Officer (DIO), Ekshu Sharma; School Principal; staff and a large number of students.
The Principal of the school lauded the efforts of the Department of Information and Public Relations for organising the programme.
