Rajouri : Anand Jain, ADG J&K Armed Police Saturday visited Rajouri to conduct operational review of IR 2nd Bn. The visit of ADG Armed J&K underscored its commitment to maintain peak efficiency and morale among its Personnel.
The ADG Armed Jain accompanied by Vinod Kumar, DIG, IRP, Jammu, and Dalip Kumar, SSP, SO to ADG, Armed received got of honour upon their arrival. During the inspection, Jain evaluated several key facilities, including the Motor Transport store, Equipment store, Ration store, Wet canteen, Dry canteen, and the main administrative office, as well as conducting a comprehensive survey of the battalion area. These inspections were aimed at assessing logistical preparedness, operational readiness, and the living conditions of personnel. Jain engaged with the jawans, stressing the importance of maintaining high standards of conduct and professionalism. He specifically addressed the issue of drug abuse, urging personnel to avoid it due to its harmful effects on individual well-being and the integrity of the force. Additionally, he inaugurated several improvements, including a CCTV surveillance system, a refurbished footpath, and a renovated Mess and Combined Dining Hall, which represent significant advancements in security and infrastructure within the battalion. The event was attended by other notable figures, including Gaurav Sikarwar, SSP Rajouri, and Nasir Khan, SSP, Commandant IR 2nd Bn, along with other officers, highlighting the collaborative effort in enhancing the battalion’s operational capabilities.
