DDC Poonch chairs DLRC meet to review performance of banks

Poonch : District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma Friday chaired the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to review the performance of Banks under Annual Credit Plan (ACP) and progress under Govt sponsored schemes for the Quarter ended December 2025 of FY 2025-26.
At 7th Press Note File/Photos-20 Feb outset Sanjeev Rasotra, Lead District Manager Lead Bank, Poonch informed the chair that different banks in district Poonch have achieved total business of Rs. 6742.11 Crores of which: Deposits in District Poonch have risen from Rs.4018.22 Crores as on 31 December 2024 to Rs.4320.19 Crores as on 31 December 2025 showing a YoY growth of 7.5%.
Advances have risen from Rs.2143.10 Crores as on 31 December 2024 to Rs.2421.92 Crores as on 31 December 2025 showing YOY growth of 13%. CD ratio of district stand at 56.06% as on 31.12.2025.
Total Credit Disbursement Made by Banks in the District up to 31.12.2025 of the FY-2025-26 under Annual Credit Plan:
Banks operating in the district made total credit disbursement of Rs.1089.74 Crores, against annual target of Rs1401.52 Crores thereby achieving 78% of the target.
Out of above, credit disbursement of Rs.441.40 crores was made under Priority sector against target of Rs.713.10 crores thereby achieving 62% of the target.
Achievement under Non-Priority Sector is Rs.1089.74 Crores against target of Rs.1401.52 crores thereby achieving 78% of the target.
The Chairman DLRC, Ashok Kumar Sharma directed all the stakeholder Banks to improve priority sector lending in different Govt sponsored schemes like Mission Yuva so that unemployed youth can avail benefits of various self-employment schemes of Central and state Govt. The chairman also directed all concerned sponsoring agencies and lending institutions to improve performance under priority sector. PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna scheme of Govt was also discussed and directions were issued to increase lending so that power generation and objective of free power to all is achieved. Social security schemes i.e PM Suraksha Bima Yojna, PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna need to be vigorously followed so that maximum accounts of district Poonch are covered under these social schemes, the chair said.

District officers Handicrafts & Handloom Deptt Poonch, besides District Coordinators of all Banks & other District Officers of Govt Departments attended the meet.
