In the field of education, certain individuals leave an indelible mark that transcends time and space. Dr Zameer Ahmad Bhat from Anantnag was undeniably one of those exceptional souls, whose contributions to the field of education have shaped countless lives and inspired generations. With his recent passing, we find ourselves in a profound state of grief. But, according to Holy Quran the life and death are two created things ,created by Almighty Allah SWT. The Holy Quran depicts death as an unavoidable, destined transition created by Almighty Allah to test humanity. The life of this world is considered as ‘delusion’. Therefore, the responsibility goes to all his friends, relatives, acquaintances, associates and to all nears and dears, to always remember Dr. Zameer Sahib, pray for his forgiveness, encourage his broken-hearted family members and carry his mission forward, so that he will get a great reward in Jannah from Almighty Allah SWT.
Born in a family that valued knowledge, education and intellectual pursuit, Dr. Zameer’s journey began in a modest setting, as his parents were related to the Education Department. From an early age, he demonstrated an insatiable curiosity and a keen intellect. His formative years were marked by a deep commitment to learning, which eventually lead him to pursue higher education. Dr.Zameer earned his (Ph.D) from a prestigious University, where he quickly established himself as a visionary torchbearer. His career began as a humble teacher, where he recognized the powerful role that educators play in shaping the future of learners. Dr. Zameer believed that Education was not merely a profession but a mission. He dedicated himself to nurturing young minds, instilling in them not just knowledge, but also values and critical thinking skills. His classroom was a sanctuary of learning, where learners felt safe to express themselves and explore new ideas. Dr. Zameer’s approach to education was revolutionary. His most and significant contribution to education was his role as mentor.
Dr Zameer took great pride in nurturing the educators. His mentorship extended beyond the classroom, he was deeply involved in the professional development of teachers, encouraging them to pursue their passions and push the boundaries of their teaching practices. Many of his students have gone to achieve the remarkable success, crediting Dr Zameer as a guiding light in their journey. His belief in the potentials of each individual was unwavering and he had an extraordinary ability to see greatness in others. Dr. Zameer was not just an educator; he was an advocate for educational reforms. He was always thinking about a reformative system that would benefit students and teachers alike. His unique behavior and commitment made him respected figure among his colleagues. His vision will continue to inspire both teachers and students. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a compassionate and humble individual. His kindness and empathy extended to everyone he met – students, colleagues and community members alike. He had an innate ability to listen and connect with others, making each person feel valued and understood. He approached every challenge with optimism. His enthusiasm inspired everyone around him to strive for excellence.

As all the friends and colleagues who worked with him mourn the silent departure of Dr. Zameer Ahmad, it is important to remember that his legacy extends far beyond his lifetime. The values he instilled in his students and colleagues will continue to flourish in future. Dr. Zameer was a helpful, sympathetic, loving and kindhearted personality .His influence will be felt in the hearts and minds of all the students and colleagues .His love, advices and teachings will live on , encouraging future generations to dream big and to work for a better future.
He was an extraordinary educationist whose impact will resonate for years to come. His dedication and commitment have left an indelible mark on the system. As we honor his memory, let us carry forward his legacy by championing education and nurturing the minds of future generations. Though Dr Zameer has departed , but the spirit lives on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to work with him .His silent departure has left all of friends, colleagues, students, relatives in a deep state of grief and has left a void that can never be filled , but his love , teachings and values will continue to inspire as he was always saying that Education is the most powerful tool by which you can change the world. Let us honor his legacy by wielding that mission with courage and compassion. All the Resource persons, teachers and friends are saddened and are in a deep state of grief by the departure of Dr. Zameer because his separation is a big test for all of them. Outwardly, he is separated but in the hearts of the colleagues, the Dr. Zameer is always present. May Almighty Allah SWT give a courage to all the colleagues, friends, relatives and family members to bear the shock and grant Dr Zameer a high rank in heaven.(Aameen) . In shared adventures, in countless ways,
Now silence falls where ‘You’ once stood,
A void that echoes, a heart misunderstood.
In the stars, you were a shining star,
You lit up the surroundings near and far,
You created a place in the hearts of all,
And planted trees that will never fall.”
