DC Kupwara reviews implementation of Mission YUVA in district

KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 17:  Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting to review the progress under Mission YUVA in the district.

New 478 cases were sanctioned by DLIC for further credit support through Mission Yuva during the meeting.

The DC reviewed bank branch wise performance of pending loan applications and stressed the need for expediting sanctioning and disbursal of eligible cases. He emphasized that timely credit support is vital for youth to establish and sustain entrepreneurial ventures.

It was informed that 1228 cases have been sanctioned by JK Bank so far and 1028 cases disbursal have been done.

The DC emphasized importance of proactive handholding and coordinated efforts by all stakeholders to ensure that aspiring entrepreneurs receive necessary guidance, credit support.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Kupwara, Mufti Fareed u din, Lead District Manager, Cluster Head JK bank, AD Employment, Branch Managers of various banks, and other concerned officers.
