Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has attached a single-story residential house valued at ₹26,56,008, with a plinth area of 1392 Sq.ft under Survey No. 44min, belonging to one Sartaj Ahmad Ganie resident of Memander Shopian.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that the property has been found to be acquired using money obtained through the sale of illegal drugs and narcotics. The accused has been previously involved in multiple NDPS cases, including FIR No. 20/2021 & 49/2021 of Police Station Shopian. The attachment process was executed in the presence of a duly constituted police team, Executive Magistrate, Lambardar and Chowkidar, ensuring full compliance with all legal protocols.
In its statement police reiterated its commitment to law enforcement against narcotics-related offences and appealed people to report any information regarding drug-related activities.
