Jammu:The semi-finals of the Martyrs Memorial 5-Day Hockey Tournament were held with great enthusiasm, featuring closely contested matches and exceptional performances.
In the first semi-final, J&K Police defeated Jammu Central 2–0 in a penalty shootout after a tightly fought contest. Prabjot Singh, goalkeeper of J&K Police, was declared Man of the Match for his decisive saves.
Besides in the second semi-final, Shahbad Hockey Academy edged past Punjab Police 4–3 in a penalty shootout following an evenly matched encounter. Vikas, goalkeeper of Shahbad Hockey Academy, earned the Man of the Match award for his outstanding performance.
Moreover, the Police and Shahbad Hockey Academy have advanced to the final.
