Ramban: Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan Friday inspected various developmental works in Ramban. He also reviewed preparedness for the commencement of academic activities of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Ramban at its temporary accommodation in Kowbag.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak, Principal KV Ramban and other concerned officers.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner directed executing agencies to expedite ongoing developmental and maintenance works, particularly road projects and related infrastructure, to ensure their completion within the prescribed timeframe. He also instructed officers to strictly implement directions issued to achieve developmental targets in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected construction and maintenance works at the temporary KV accommodation. He reviewed the availability and condition of classrooms, sanitation facilities, drinking water supply and other essential infrastructure required for the smooth commencement of academic activities. He emphasised ensuring all basic facilities are in place to provide a safe and student-friendly learning environment.
The district administration is working to strengthen educational infrastructure in the district. The Deputy Commissioner assured that all necessary support will be extended to ensure the smooth functioning of KV Ramban at its temporary location until permanent arrangements are put in place.
