Sakeena Itoo condoles demise of former Ministers

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 13: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo has expressed deep grief and sorrow on the demise of former Ministers Peerzada Ghulam Ahmad Shah and Qamar Ali Akhoon.

While paying tributes to both leaders, the Minister said that both of them had  served as Ministers and Members of the Legislative Assembly and they not only represented people of their respective constituencies but the whole of Jammu & Kashmir with dedication and integrity.

The Minister also remembered her association with them and said that she learnt a lot from both of them. “Both leaders were always sincere, committed, and deeply loyal to their work and stood firm through all circumstances. Their guidance, experience, and leadership have shaped many of us, and will continue to inspire us in the years ahead”, she said.

The Minister also said that their contributions to the people and to public life will always be remembered.

She also prayed for their absolution and highest place  in Jannat-ul-Firdous, as well as patience for their families to bear this loss.
