Srinagar : The NSS unit of Government College for Women (GCW) Parade organised a one-day workshop on Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Thursday. The workshop aimed to promote entrepreneurship, leadership and career awareness among flood-affected families of J&K and NSS volunteers.
S.P. Verma, Padma Shri awardee and President Gandhi Global Family attended the programme as Chief Guest. He highlighted dedication, innovation and ethical leadership as essential for success.
Mr Mathew Mattam, Founder CYDA, delivered the keynote address and spoke on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship opportunities and the importance of skill development. He encouraged participants to adopt innovation, problem-solving skills and calculated risk-taking to develop sustainable business ventures.
Ms Ansuya Jamwal, ADC Jammu, interacted with the participants and appreciated the initiative to support flood-affected families. Mr Munshi Ram delivered a lecture on agriculture development and emerging opportunities for youth in the sector.
Certificates were distributed to participants at the conclusion of the workshop.
