Kathua : DC XI registered a six-wicket victory over PHE XI in a cricket match played at Sports Stadium Kathua Thursday.
Batting first, PHE XI set a target of 123 runs in 14.5 overs. Rajesh Gupta top-scored with 32 runs while Rahul Singh added 25. Raman delivered a decisive spell for DC XI, taking four wickets to restrict the opposition. DC Rajesh Sharma, Ranjeet Thakur, Amir and Arun took one wicket each.
Chasing the target, DC XI secured the win on the back of two strong batting performances. Amit Sharma scored 41 runs off 25 balls with six boundaries, providing early momentum. Rajinder Digra contributed 45 runs off 41 deliveries, including seven boundaries, to anchor the chase.
Vishavjeet Singh remained unbeaten on 11 and Vishav Partap Singh scored 8 to guide DC XI to victory.
