Srinagar : Police on Monday said that it has achieved a significant breakthrough in FIR No. 18/26 registered under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) by recovering stolen property and arresting the accused involved in the commission of crime here in Pulwama.
In a statement issued here on Monday Police said during the investigation, the stolen property, specifically a cable, was successfully recovered from unknown offenders. The vehicles implicated in the crime and identified by their registration numbers JK03H-3944 (Tata Mobile) and JK13H-7042 (Chota Hathi), have been seized by authorities. The primary suspect, Muzafar Ahmad Padroo, S/O Abdul Rashid Padroo and a resident of Bandepora, has been arrested in connection with the case. Ongoing investigations aim to uncover further details and assess the potential involvement of additional individuals in the crime. In its statement police reiterated its commitment to protect public property and enforce strict measures against criminal activities.
