Baramulla, Feb 07 : In a commendable humanitarian gesture, the Indian Army’s 52 RR (Rashtriya Rifles) unit based at Sultanpora Kandi, Baramulla, extended timely assistance to a low-income family in Kohlina village whose residence was severely damaged in the recent earthquake.
Following the incident, the affected family was left without adequate food and basic necessities and was facing serious hardship in managing daily life. Responding promptly to the distress situation, the Army personnel reached out to the family and provided immediate relief and support.
As part of the assistance, essential food supplies along with cash support were handed over to help the family meet their urgent living requirements and regain stability during this difficult period.
The relief effort reflects the Indian Army’s continued commitment to serve and stand by the people, particularly during natural disasters and emergencies. The beneficiary family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for its swift humanitarian intervention, stating that the support brought much-needed relief and hope in a moment of distress.
