DC G’bal reviews progress on land identification, construction of RDD assets under SBM (G)

Ganderbal : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore Thursday convened a meeting to discuss and review the progress on identification of suitable land and construction of assets including DEWATS, Segregation Sheds and Soakage Pits under the Rural Development Department (RDD) across the district.
The objective of the meeting was to expedite the process of identification of appropriate land and construction of RDD-related developmental works to ensure their timely execution.
Emphasizing close coordination between the Revenue and Rural Development Departments, the DC directed all Tehsildars, in coordination with the concerned BDOs to identify suitable land feasible for setting up assets and expedite construction of the same.
During the meeting, the DC issued necessary directions for resolving pending issues and accelerating implementation.
He stressed the need for timely compliance and concerted efforts by all stakeholders to strengthen rural infrastructure and advance developmental initiatives across the district.
Among others the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Tehsildars, Block Development officers and others concerned.
