Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 launched in Aspirational Block Khari

Ramban: In a major push towards inclusive and outcome-driven development, Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 was formally launched Wednesday in Aspirational Block Khari to achieve 100 percent saturation of key development indicators as envisioned by NITI Aayog.
The launch event was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan and marked a decisive step towards strengthening convergence-based governance, last-mile service delivery and participatory development in the block.
The programme was attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Banihal Mohammad Naseeb Bajran, Assistant Commissioner Development Sheraz Ahmed, CPO Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, DDC Members, besides officers and officials from all line departments.
The program proceedings commenced with the Sampoornata Pledge, reiterating the collective resolve of all stakeholders to achieve complete saturation across priority sectors.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected stalls put up by stakeholder departments, showcasing flagship schemes, service delivery frameworks and sector-wise saturation strategies.
Addressing the gathering, the DC highlighted the importance of accountability, coordinated execution and field-level ownership for the successful implementation of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0.
Appreciating the focused and result-driven approach of the departments, the DC urged all stakeholders to work in mission mode to transform Khari from an aspirational to an inspirational block.
A dedicated Health Team deputed by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kamal Jee Zadu, was present to support health-related activities under the Abhiyan.
Various developmental and grassroots governance activities were conducted during the programme. ASHA Workers, ANMs, Anganwadi Workers, field staff and other grassroots functionaries have been roped in to ensure effective last-mile delivery of government initiatives at the community level.
As the Nodal Officer for Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, BDO Khari Urfan Khan will oversee block-level planning, inter-departmental convergence, field execution and continuous monitoring of saturation indicators to ensure effective implementation at the grassroots.
In line with NITI Aayog’s emphasis on behavioural change communication and community engagement, representatives from the Education, Nutrition, Health and Agriculture Departments also delivered sector-wise presentations, outlining indicator-wise progress, identified gaps and detailed action plans aimed at achieving saturation through convergence and real-time monitoring.
