Srinagar : Police on Monday said that it has achieved a significant success against drug trafficking during a naka checking operation at Nagdandi Crossing in Anantnag district.
In a statement issued here on Monday Police said that during a routine check, Ishfaq Ahmad Malik, a resident of Sombruna, was apprehended besides seizing approximately 330 grams of a substance resembling Charas powder. A case under FIR No. 04/26 has been registered in this connection and an investigation is underway . In its statement Police emphasized its commitment to combat drug abuse and appealed people to assist it by sharing inputs related to drug trafficking activities.
