Budgam : In pursuance to the J&K Legal Service Authority calendar for the year 2026 , District Legal Services Authority Budgam organized a Lok Adalat for the amicable settlement of criminal compoundable cases.
The Lok Adalat was held at the District Court Complex Budgam, under the supervision of O.PBhaghat, (Pr.Distt.& Sessions Judge) Chairman District Legal Services Authority Budgam.
Earlier, each court had identified cases for the Lok Adalat beforehand and same were placed before Four different benches constituted by DLSA Budgam and 36 matters were taken up for their amicable settlement in Special Lok Adalat.
Ist Bench comprised of Tasneem Kawoosa, Munsiff/JMIC Budgam and Lateef Ahmad Khan, Chief LADC Budgam. Second Bench comprised of Shafeeq Ahmad Malik, Sub Judge Chadoora and Adv. A.R Hanjura, Pro Bono Lawyer, Chadoora. Third Bench comprised of Rabiya Snober, Munsiff Magam and Suraya Akbar, Panel Lawyer and fourth Bench comprised of Towfeel Ahmad Mir, Munsiff Beerwah and Inayat Malik, Panel Lawyer Beerwah.
