DC Kupwara reviews land identification for RDD assets; directs completion within 7 days

Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara Shrikant Suse Saturday convened a meeting to discuss and review the identification of suitable land for creation of assets under the Rural Development Department (RDD) across the district.
The meeting was attended by the ACR Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad ACD Arshid Qadir Bhat, Tehsildarsand BDOs of the district through Virtual mode.
The objective of the meeting was to streamline and expedite the process of identification of appropriate land for RDD-related developmental works to ensure their timely execution. Emphasizing close coordination between the Revenue and Rural Development Departments, the Deputy Commissioner directed all Tehsildars, in coordination with the concerned BDOs, to identify suitable land within a period of seven days.
During the meeting, He also reviewed the progress under the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) and issued necessary directions for resolving pending issues and accelerating implementation.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for timely compliance and concerted efforts by all stakeholders to strengthen rural infrastructure and advance developmental initiatives across Kupwara district.
