Srinagar : The Netball Inter-College Tournament, organized by the Cluster University of Jammu, concluded today at GGM Science College with Science College emerging as the winners in the men’s category and GCW Gandhinagar taking the top spot in the women’s category.
In the men’s category, Science College defeated SPMR College 10-9 in the first match, and went on to win the final match against MAM College with a score of 6-5. In the women’s category, GGM Science College won against SPMR College 15-13, and MAM College lost to GGM Science College 4-6. The final match was played between GGM and GCW Gandhinagar, with GCW Gandhinagar winning 6-4.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director of Sports & Physical Education, Cluster University of Jammu, Dr. Devinder Kumar Sharma, Incharge Director of Sports & Physical Education, GGM Science College, and Mr. Ravi, Physical Director of SPMR College. The technical panel for the event included Arjun Soni, Akshit Arora, Dhruv Gupta, Lalit, Radhika Manhas, and Taniya Choudhary. With this win, Science College and GCW Gandhinagar have been declared the winners of the Netball Inter-College Championship in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
