Rajouri MSME–Development Office-Jammu, under Ministry of MSME, GoI, on Thursday organised Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Rajouri to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among the youth.
During the programme, trainees were sensitised to the wide range of opportunities available in the MSME sector, flagship government schemes, banking support, credit facilities and the procedure for setting up enterprises, including MSME registration.
Resource Person from Government ITI, J&K Bank, District Industries Centre (DIC) and MSME DFO, Jammu addressed the participants and provided valuable insights into Skill Development, financial assistance, credit facilities and MSME-related schemes.
Investigator, MSME-DFO Jammu Ankit Sharma briefed the trainees on various MSME schemes, highlighting benefits related to credit support, technology up-gradation, skill development and market assistance.
Dev. Professional Ministry of MSME, GoI, Aabid Hussain delivered the welcome address, highlighting the role of MSMEs in employment generation and economic growth. He also presented the vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of the Skill Development Department, Industries Department & J&K Bank.
