Rajouri : Director Health Services, Jammu (DHSJ) Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, along with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri, Thursday visited various health institutions in the Kandi area to review healthcare facilities and assess the progress of infrastructure development.
During the visit to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kandi, the Director held a review meeting with medical and paramedical staff to assess the functioning of the hospital. Key issues, including availability of manpower, patient care services, implementation of national health programmes and overall hospital performance were discussed.

The Director, accompanied by the CMO, also inspected the completed building at Community Health Centre (CHC) Kandi. The quality of construction and readiness of the infrastructure were reviewed. The concerned authorities were asked to make optimal use of the newly developed facilities for the benefit of the public.
Later, the Director visited Buddal Block to take stock of healthcare services in the area. He interacted with healthcare staff and stressed the importance of strengthening outreach services, particularly in remote and hilly regions, to ensure accessible and timely medical care to the population.
The visit highlighted the Health Department’s continued focus on strengthening health infrastructure and improving service delivery at all.
