The public outreach programme was conducted at 30 locations, including Harnaw, Gundaripora, Parampelan, Drung, Khanpeth, Aatipora, Jalal Sahab, Barnate, Baghi Islam, Bulbulabad (K Payeen), Check Tapper, Pachhar, Chuker, Jabla, Prankutran, Salamabad Dachna AB, Druroo, Mugham, Aabpathri, Chest Colony, Watergam, Goosha Colony, Singhpora, Hartrath, Kripalpora Payeen, New Colony Palhallan, Pakipora, Sultan Daki, Hiller Peerniyan and Devdrasger.

During the outreach programme, police officers interacted with local residents and listened to their grievances and issues, which mainly included water scarcity, irregular power supply, drainage system issues, inner road connectivity and macadamization, verification-related matters, concerns regarding cyber crime, and drug abuse.

The public was sensitized about drug abuse prevention, cyber crime awareness, verification procedures, public safety measures, and the importance of timely reporting of issues through Dial-112. The participants were assured that the genuine issues raised would be taken up with the concerned departments for appropriate redressal.

The initiative was well received by the public, who appreciated the proactive, people-friendly approach of Baramulla Police towards community policing and public welfare.
