Srinagar|Jan, 28 : Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) were on Wednesday released from the Qazigund-Navyug Tunnel towards Jammu after a day long temporary suspension of traffic on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway, officials said.
An official from Traffic Police said that the movement of LMVs was allowed following an improvement in road conditions. The Jammu–Srinagar National Highway had earlier been closed due to continuous snowfall, which disrupted vehicular movement and affected traffic flow along the vital road stretch. The SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir confirmed to KNC, that the traffic movement was restored towards Jammu.
